Move MineCraft Dungeons character to a different PC?

As it seems to me, despite the user having full permissions over the "Microsoft.Lovika_8wekyb3d8bbwe" folder and its subfolders, the save games (at least from the Game Pass version) are now encrypted, moving the save file to another location breaks the encryption,
and copying the entire folder in which the file is contained is not permitted. Perhaps it was a countermeasure to prevent people from modifying their saves with external tools. I do not think there is a way around it anymore (I could find some scripts that
automated backing up your save data over reddit, but the post was 20 days old, i tried it and it doesn't work anymore, saying that "the file could not be encrypted", so I think they changed something with the last update).

Is there a way to do this on xbox?

If you are asking about moving your XBOX save to PC, sadly not, since Minecraft Dungeons is not a play-anywhere title.

I tried to copy the characters folder from in there and I get a 'Your organisation does not allow this' message - how/why is that folder locked to prevent copying? Especially as there's no other method to store your characters.

As of this moment there is no official way to transfer your save file to another computer.

An official fix way would be to go to

C:\Users\"Your user name"\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Lovika_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Local\Dungeons

This is all of the assumption this is the location of your character file.

The folder with a bunch of numbers is your character save file, copy that folder to the other computer and place it in the same spot.

Then you should be good to go!
