Move internal HDD from Xbox One X to Xbox One

My Xbox One X now has failed to start after using 3 different HDD each for a week. Obviously there is something wrong with the system itself. Is it possible to do one of the following:

1. Put an internal HDD from an Xbox One X into the original model and have it work?

OR

2. Connect the internal from the Xbox One X to an original model through a USB adapter and transfer the games to it?

Basically every question like this either has to do with a system upgrade or lateral move. I want to go the cheapest route possible considering it will only be used for 10 months.

It was confirmed last night that any current external hard drive will work with the Xbox One X, however you may want to consider moving some of the games you play often over to the Xbox One X internal hard drive as it will probably load games quicker from
internal HDD than your external one.

what exactly doesnt work? it wont boot up or it has errors?

I had an external that died. Then, one week later, the internal started getting the E101 error. I used the offline update method and managed to get it working. Less than a week later, it did it again. This time, I bought a SSHD, partitioned it correctly
and installed it into the Xbox One X. It has been working for slightly over a week. I then got an E105 error. I attempted to restart it and got a E102 error. I tried to reset it and got a E101. At this point, it has to be some issue with the Xbox itself.

I can't afford to redownload games a third time in a month since Comcast is awful with their data caps. That is why I wanted to do one of the two options listed in my original post.

The internal hard drive is not meant to be swapped or changed in any way. Doing so would violate the terms of service and would put you at risk for being banned. If the system is having hardware issues, you would need to set up a repair with Microsoft.
