    Move games bought on one account to new xbox on a new account.


    We have an xbox purchased a couple years ago. Everything was set up on that account - games, profile, etc. Now, my son will be getting his own xbox and I want to move (not copy) the games previously bought to that xbox. He'll be managing it under his own
    account. How do we do that?

    Nothing can be transferred between accounts. Your son would need to sign into the same account on the new console in order to continue using the games he's purchased and the progress he has made.

    Sorry, but you want be able to do that. All your purchased games are tied to your account. You would be able to easily move the data from one console to the other, but you will remain the owner of the games. If you set his new console as your home console,
    he will still be able to use the games, but he cannot manage them.
