    Move GamerTag to new account / profile on same xbox


    I was chatting with xbox support but suddenly wasn't getting any additional responses. They were working my request to move the gamertag under my account / profile to a new account / profile created for my son since he had been playing games under my account
    for some time. I just realized ability to get him his own account so want to move my gametag to his account / profile and I'll get a new one. Who can help with this since I was dropped by chat support person that was working this and got no final response
    back from them. Thanks.

    Hey there, it sounds like you're trying to create a new gamertag instead of downloading the one already associated with your account, to download your profile, press the Xbox guide button and select the 'download profile' option or follow the steps here:
