Move gamertag from one xbox accout to another.

I've registered one xbox account a long ago with mine nickname and forgot about it. Now I have another primary account but unable to set mine nickname to it without adding tag number. I want to move this tag to primary account. I have access to both accounts.

You would need to make a double change. One to make the gt available and the second one to claim it with the desired account

Unfortunately, there is not an option on the Xbox One to move a Gamertag from one Microsoft account to another. However, you would need to contact official support and see if they can do anything to help you out with moving your Gamertag to that other MSA

One of the easiest ways to move your gamertag from one console to another without have to jump through the hoops of recovering it is to get a usb stick, format it to work with the xbox and then moving your gamertag onto the stick and transporting it back
and forth.

So then there is no way to attach a Microsoft account to a gamertag that currently without one?

Also, is it possible to just move save data from one gamertag to another?
