Mouse not connecting to Xbox one. Anyone know why?

Why can Xbox not connect a mouse and keyboard into it but PlayStation players can

I'm confused why would anyone want to stream a PC game to the One and then use a keyboard and mouse? What's the benefit in this? Genuine question??

You need to have Keyboard and mouse connected directly to the xbox for this. Currently there is no way to play through the xbox one app on windows using Keyboard and mouse connected to the PC.
