mouse cursor moves away from game

Around this week when I was playing deep rock galatic I was having an issue with the game while try to play on mouse + KB.

When I would move my mouse to somewhat high or low it would leave my my game and.move to my task bar or my games.window bar. The thing is I'm playing in fullscreen so I shouldn't be having this issue.

When I play I would sometimes click the window or click on the task bar and I would not have control of my game until I moved my cursor back and clicked. This made it very difficult to play on mouse and keyboard I almost even click the close button on the
right corner!

Tested it with minecraft win10 and the same issue happens. Is there a fix for this? Is this because of the new console companion update? I just want to cross play with my friends and I can do that

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I looked around for a solution and came across one on the

Steam forums that many said worked for them. Try the following steps:

1. Open TaskManager (right click on taskbar or CTRL_ALT+DELETE)

2. Right-click on Windows Explorer, than click on Restart.

I advise you to look over the thread on Steam that I linked above if you need more information about this solution.

Basically when i play a windows 10 game my cursor isnt locked to my game. If i go to high the title bar pops up(today i hit the close button because i was trying to aim up and shoot) when i go down the task bar pops up.

Any other game i have doesnt do that it acts normal. its only for the games i play from the windows 10 store (deep rock or minecraft in this case)

Hi, I just tested and with a controller, there is no issue. Just when using a mouse to move the cursor around, the cursor will disappear over the map.

That doesn't work. An easy way to test if you have mouse acceleration:

Place your mouse all the way on the right side of your mouse pad, and the cursor on the right side of your screen. Move the mouse very slowly to the left, and when your cursor hits the left side of the screen, put your left index finger on the mouse pad. Now do the same movement fast, and see where your mouse is, when the cursor makes it to the left side of your screen.

Same issue here just started happening today. I can move the mouse cursor in the menus but it wont register clicking and wont look in game
