mouse and keyboard fortnite

Do you need to have an adapter to play mouse and keyboard on xbox. when i plug a gaming mouse into my xbox, my movement is very jittery but when i play with a stansard mouse it is smoothe.

Need help please

Currently only Minecraft (without the "Xbox One Edition" in the title) is playable with keyboard and mouse.

All other games, including Fortnite do NOT work with Keyboard and Mouse on the Xbox One.

If you want to play Fortnite with Keyboard and Mouse, you can do that on a regular Windows PC.

There have been some reports of Fortnite Xbox One players experiencing input latency when using a mouse and keyboard; a delay between moving the mouse and a subsequent on-screen action.

If you have multiple mice in the home, switching it out could be a temporary fix until the issue is properly addressed

You don't have to but in this case i would suggest using one as it will help with the connectivity

Thanks for reaching out! We are glad you are trying out the mouse and keyboard feature. Here is the article for more information regarding
Mouse
and Keyboard Support for Xbox One Developers. I personally work try an adapter with the mouse/keyboard as a test to see if it improves the movements.

Be aware, that the keyboard and mouse feature is still being tested, and is therefore not yet released to the public. Only to Insiders through the Insider App.
You can also report this problem using the Xbox
Insider Hub app so we can investigate it further if this is a preview program issue:

On your console, install the
Xbox
Insider Hubapp (if you don’t already have it).

Hold down the
Xbox
button on the controller.

On the power menu, select
Report a problem.

Describe the problem in detail, including when it happened, if you saw any specific error codes or messages, and if you were using any specific games, software,
hardware, or accessories when you encountered the problem.

If you have a gaming mouse, hook it up to a PC and alter the pole rate down to 125. I assume you are part of the Insider Preview, you can see reports on tyis here: Xbox Insiders
as you will note from the threads there, it seems to be a fortnite issue.

What model of keyboard and mouse are you using?. There is of course a work in progress for both, I highly suggest using a wired Keyboard and mouse only at this current moment on fortnite.

Both are wired but mouse wont work on any game is my mouse broke???
