Mouse and keyboard assigned

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. Unfortunately, in the Xbox settings there is not a setting to assign to a certain profile. You could see if under account settings if the old profile is there for the controller. But as for the keyboard
and mouse this could be through the game itself.

I agree. Mouse and keyboard would be desired. I play mouse and keyboard on Modern Warfare 2 and Halo. I enjoy having the precision of a mouse and the ease of assigning keybindings to the keyboard. I think this would be a value add to XBOX. Microsoft, please encourage Bethesda to make these updates for the large community that supports your games and platform.

in the settings under Kinect & devices you can assign controller to a player. maybe you can do that with mouse and keyboard. i'm not sure but you can try it.

Ok, so firstly you should be able to just plug in the mouse/keyboard USB and use it (if they are supported) you shouln't need an adapter to use mouse and keyboard on Xbox One since mouse and keyboard support has been added.

Secondly I'm not aware of black ops 4 supporting mouse and keyboard use on console, so if the developers have not enabled mouse and keyboard support on Xbox One, then using an adapter to be able to use your mouse and keyboard will be considered cheating.

Try to change the keyboard language in your xbox settings. Some users went from QWERTY French-Canadien to QWERTY English and it worked. Or English UK to English US.

Also, the keyboard and mouse will usually only work for the first account signed in to the console. If you have more than one, please try to sign off the other accounts and then try to plugin the mouse and keyboard again.

Just to make sure, did you select the in-game option to use mouse and keyboard and assigned them to your account? And are you using both of them connected to the console?
