    Mount & Blade: Warband PC Launch Issue


    I have xbox game pass for PC, and I installed Mount & Blade for PC just fine, installing all of the dependencies/DirectX, but when I try to launch the game, I get an error prompt that says, "You do not have a valid license to run the game." So then I uninstall
    the game, at which time I get an error code 0xffffffff, which isn't even on the error code list. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times but with the same result. Anyone know how to fix this? Could it be an issue with purchasing vs. renting the
    game via game pass?

    No, really. Go play Mount & Blade/Warband, it's pretty much as you describe.

    There's an upcoming game called War of the Roses too which is another period action title.

    The game with the best battle sequences/war mechanics has got to be Mount & Blade Warband. That stuff is so much fun. I mean you can literally have 1000's of troops on the battlefield all at the same time in such a small area. In most case you'd personally
    need to fight...if you want though (if I remember correctly) you can watch from an aerial view.
