    Motorola/Netopia (Modems/Gateways): Changing Wireless Band (Width)
    Login Information

    • Gateway: 192.168.1.254
    • Username: none (leave blank)
    • Password: Access code written on the side or bottom of the device


    Change Wireless Band (Width)

    1. Login to the gateway by entering 192.168.1.254 into the address bar of a web browser.
    2. Enter the access code listed on the device.
    3. Select Home Network from the menu across the top.
    4. Select Wireless from the submenu below.
    5. Next to Bandwidth select “20MHz”.
    6. Select Save.

    • Gateway - 192.168.1.254
    • Username - admin
    • Password - password
    The router will then prompt for a "Modem Access Code". That code can be found on a label attached to the Gateway/Modem.

    Change Wireless Band (width)

    This device does not have wireless features.
