    Motherboard water damage


    Has anybody else gotten anywhere with replacement console Xbox one S due to motherboard placement at bottom of console? My son saved 2 years to buy his Xbox, he is 10 and his console is in imaculant condition says the company who did a free diagnostic
    on it , its 1 and a half years old and got water damage due to sitting 2 feet away from a window and condensation!

    I apologize but once the console has been tampered the warranty will be void.

    If you have a little bif of tech experience. Try open the controller and see what the issue might be. The second thing to try would be to look up a teardown video on YouTube. Chances are you can fix the issue as long as it's not water damage or the motherboard
    is not damaged in any way.

    Compressed air is not a good idea. You could end up with water droplets inside the console that could damage the motherboard or other critical parts. As stated above use a vacuum to clean out the console the best you can
