Most recent screenshot missing on xBox One

I took a screenshot from Resident Evil 8 on xbox One and told it to save but when I go to my "recent screenshots" several days later, it is NOT there even though it SAID that it saved!!

I selected "on this console" but there are absolutely zero screenshots showing!! Only a few images show up in "on xbox network" from a few years ago

I googled 'xBox one most recent screenshot missing' but ONLY results saying that newer screenshots overwrite older screenshots when allocated screenshot space is capped showed. But this is the latest screenshot that is missing, NOT older screenshots!! Plus there is NO screenshots on the console. ONLY six on "On xBox Network" and those all are from years ago. This one was taken a week ago.

I also Googled 'xBox one screenshot did not save' but ONLY results pertaining to people getting an error message saving came up. I am NOT getting any error messages of any kind. It says that it saved the capture but NOTHING could be further from the truth! It is NOWHERE in recent captures or anywhere that I can find!

There is absolutely nothing on the internet regarding the most recent screenshot just disappearing or not saving when it said that it did!

Does anybody know what the problem could be??

Clean your console's MAC and restart your internet devices.

Network Settings> Advanced Settings> MAC Address and Clear.

If the problems persists reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

To reset the console>

Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

If the image does not appear even after these 2 steps it may have been lost.

I recommend saving to Xbox Live and then saving to One Drive or saving the image to your phone.

You DID NOT read my post in its entirety! I SAID that "I selected "on this console"" which means I SAVED IT LOCALLY!! The local file is what is missing

In experience, the Xbox screenshot and then saving it online to the cloud is a hit and miss. I dont rely on it. a few months ago, I remember, almost every screenshot I took was never saved for weeks on top of weeks.

In the last 2 to 3 months, screenshot system is working again and actually storing them online so I can see them on my PC or mobile app.

My advice : if some screenshot is really important, save it locally on the Xbox and then upload it to twitter or OneDrive or a USB pen drive. I dont trust the cloud screenshot system on Xbox, because of prior experience.

Is it possible that you made the Screenshots while offline?

It is strange that you don't have the most current screenshots. If we believe what is described in here ( https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/my-games-apps/manage-clips-with-upload-studio )
the older screenshots are the ones that should be deleted, and not new ones.

I have an idea, I know it is not the best thing for the missing screenshots you have, but you should upload them to your OneDrive just in case (I do that when I have some time).

The Daub Helper activates, it just doesn't get the first number correct.

Please see my word document in my One Drive public folder showing a screenshot of a recent occurrence where it showed the first number on one card and missed it on another one.
