Mortal Kombat

To be quite frank, in terms of characters, I'm actually a bit disappointed. I may feel different once the game releases and I can get my hands on them, but for now I kind of feel like half the cast (most notably the new special forces characters) largely
seem like throw-away, or uninspired, or even copy-cat characters. Many of them share moves or traits from previous game's characters that aren't in this game and I think that's kind of a cop-out for storyline purposes in order for it to make it work (a good
example being Kitana's use of Jade's moves or the numerous siblings). It also kind of cheapens the concept behind the different styles each character has, since they don't seem as original.

 

Its more annoying the likes of smoke and nood are in the game but unplayable would take noob over jax any day of the week

 

I feel the same way with Baraka, Stryker, and Kabal. Then again, I think Black more than makes up for Stryker.

 

Didnt like stryker but baraka should be staple charcter like scorpion and liu kang

 

Agreed. The problem with him is that he's a lowly thug that always seems to get the short end of the stick which barely separates him from the rest of his subjugated race.

to be honest i think the roster has hit the right balance of new and old if was all old we would be saying same old same old be all new and we would be whining the old people aint there.

i do hope for more of the older charcters in some retro dlc packs like a ninja pack with noob/smoke and cyrax

 

Since I will be new the MK series again, can someone please explain to me what EX moves are and, most importantly, how you perform them? Having trouble finding info in Google.

 

They are speical move with extra bit you perform a speical move ie scorpion harpoon back back punch but instead you press two punch buttons and it will do a more powerful version of the move

 

cheesy is correct - it'll also cost you 1 bar of meter (on the bottom of the screen) to perform it.

 

Ah thanks for the response. So enhanced moves and xrays are done the same way? Same button combo?

 

xrays are done when bar is full you press left and right trigger together

I actually like the roster (all my favs are in lol). The new characters seem pretty good as well. I think it'll be one of those things where you'll just have to decide in game

LAUNCH TRAILER!

 

I very rarely get overly excited for a new game to launch this game has joined Trials Evolution on my list !!

 

I watched some of this yesterday on twitch a bunch of people have it early and they was playing the story mode and alot of people in the comment section was writing REPORT chaptor 4 and thats it banned the story looks ok but i doubt ill get this game
