Mortal Kombat X won't load past start up screen.

It was working fine. Now every time I try to load the game I can't get past the startup screen with all the copyright information on. Brand new game bought from Amazon. Tried uninstalling the game and installing the game with no luck. Strangely if I'm not
signed I get a bit further to the actual menu but them it asks you to sign in and it won't load again. It doesn't crash, the trees in the menu screen still move a bit, it just won't load anything.

Any ideas?

why does mortal kombat xl keep updating but nothing ever updates in the game

mortal kombat x and that has changed to the mortal kombat XL screen

i am not sure but it keeps updating on start screen but nothing ever updates is it a error ?

Same happened to me apparently ign or no one are going to recognize the problem

 

I solved the issue unplug the brick and plug it back in and then it should work

 

Yeah, that was exactly what I was going to suggest If you power cycle your console, it tends to fix quite a lot of buggy issues like this

 

Did you ever fix the issue of it not starting? I just tried to play it this morning and it was the same thing you had, stuck at the main menu screen with the trees in dead forest, they are moving but I cannot do anything or play. Any other suggestions other
than unplugging the power brick in the back? Thanks people!!

 

When you unplug the brick, make sure you actually let it sit for a minute or two unplugged before turning it all back on. Otherwise the other option woudl be to delete the game and reinstall it

 

make sure xbox one is set to your home xbox if it s digital.hold power button for 5 seconds until it turns off wait for lights on ac brick to turn off unplug the brick wait till lights go off solid black. then wait 5 min. then plug back in .try.that don't
