Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition - Kombat Pack Query

Just purchased Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition but the Kombat Pack DLC that is supposed to come with it has not appeared in my download queue. Currently only the Goro & Samurai Pack DLCs, along with the game itself are installing. I note that the file
size for the Kombat Pack on the Marketplace is zero but I thought you usually get some sort of place holder in your game library with a season pass or at least you used to you. Could somebody please confirm whether an entry for the Kombat Pack is supposed
to appear in your game library when purchasing this bundle. Thanks in advance.

Hello. I bought Mortal Kombat X Premium edition for pre-order. But in game is not available Kombat Pack 4 heroes. In supplement there are only Goro and a set of "Samurai". How to get the promised 4 heroes?

you that you own all the packs that are included in this bundle. If you haven't already, I would suggest trying to download the

Kombat Pack on the Marketplace separately in the meantime.

Thanks but I do not want to wait and see if this downloads after the game is released and there is no option to download the Kombat Pack separately in the meantime. What is supposed to appear in your installation queue when you pre-purchase the Premium Edition?

I totally understand your concerns, however I want to reassure you that since you've purchased the premium edition of Mortal
Kombat X, that you own all that is part of the bundle, including the
Kombat Pack.

We can't make any assumptions as to when the content in the pack will be available, however please let us know if the
Kombat Pack continues this behavior after Mortal Kombat X finally releases.

 

Hey all I pre ordered the premium edition also and am having the same problem with the kombat pack .

I have tried downloading again , both game and packs but while instore if I select the kombat pack it refers back to the samurai pack I have no option to download the kombat pack at all . I should also note that when I select the premium edition it wants
me to pay for it again where as the goro and samurai pack say they are installed

 

The Kombat pack works like a season pass, it gives you the DLC's bit by bit. The current DLC that is available for the Kombat pack is the Samurai Pack.

Ummmm... the Samurai Pack is LISTED as releasing the 21st.. But the big DRAW of the pack was four new fighters.. when do we get those? Aren't those supposed to be available DAY ONE? I am havnig the exact same issue although I bought my Kombat pack/game from
a store (Gamestop). They also *** me saying my Goro code would be in the box (liars). How would I know I never buy there and after this won't be again. This is a complete CLUSTER%*#^ failure of a launch if you can't even access your already paid for DLC.

 

After much hunting I finally found this and I am rather disappointed as all xbox store states it is released with the game

I payed for the goro, and kombat pack, but I only have goro.when I look to see where my kombat dlc is is, it says I own it, but can't install it.when I try to install it just goes a little dim, and nothing else.nothing in queue.i see that I own it, but I
have nothing to show for it.anyone have any idea what's going on?

I'm having the same issue, everyone. If you highlight the kombat pack and try to install, you get pushed to a screen to download the samurai pack. It definitely would make sense to have the four DLC characters available on launch day, as said in the description.

Hmm, I wonder if Sony is having the same issue? Probably not.

 

So are we thinking it is just a wait and see now? I have the same problem. Has anyone tried uninstalling it in the marketplace and trying to reinstall it in game? I am wondering if that works?

 

It's really simple to understand allow me to walk you through it.

Go to xbox live marketplace and view the description of "Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition "

(regardless if you purchase via digital or from a retail store)

Look at what is all included in the premium edition!

Premium Edition includes samurai + kombat + goro pre-order bonus

(Goro is the only additional character you get)

Now view the samurai package and compare it's description with the kombat package

(Key difference in the two descriptions = "grants early access")

also I hate to be the bearer of bad news to those of you who were just to excited, and bought the premium edition without reading. Not only do you have to wait for the additional character, if you read carefully the kombat package gives you a 25% discount
for 4 playable characters to klassic and iconic guests.

(In other words yes you'll have to buy the additional characters apon release)

For example go to the game and click on extras > download able content > find characters and you'll see goro for sale at 5.99 and a sub zero for 1.99.
