mortal kombat is greedy

just purchased mk x premium edition for R600 odd & there is no goro it's like how much money do they want to squeeze out of a man for a full 2d game? i feel milked because i expected to get all the charectors in the premium edition but everything in mk screams
spend, spend & spend

Goro was a pre order only character, so you werent the only one that didnt get him for free. There were many angry fans last year that got the game but didnt pre order and realized Goro wasnt part of the DLC pass pack... Its weird that they still have
him separate as opposed to being included with all the DLC since the game is going on close to a year of being out...

 

they just greedy, they got goro in the character selection screen highlighted in grey, so you see him constantly reminding you that you missing a character & you need to purchase him, if you look at batman's season pass you really feel like you getting your
money's worth even now they still giving you stuff, it was a solid buy. a man has to complain about these things with hope that something will be done, there is so many games & the companies are making their money there is no need to kill their customers,
i know i will not purchase a mortal kombat game again. both those games are made by warner bros but i will still think twice before i purchase another game from them. i been buying mortal komat since snes days when it was still owned by aklaim, ultimate mortal
komat was my favorite, you put in a code you can do easy fatalities, you put in a code you get the secret character smoke, now you must pay for everything, that vault feature is too taxing for a casual gamer it will take me years to open all that up. mk is
not the only company that has gone greedy but it's the worst i came across so far

 

If you bought the Premium Edition like you're post says then you can unlock everything in the Krypt with the touch of one button, you dont have to go through all that.... also Premium came with all the DLC except Goro.

 

you can't you have to pay R169 extra for that(unlock all krypt items). you can't even do easy fatalities or get the extra sub zero, i unlocked easy fatalities in the krypt & still can't do it.

i can purchase the walking dead season 2 for R65,67 which is awesome from telltales to do that especially this time of year it's a lot more value than goro

 

Again they must of changed this up, becuase when you got the Premium version when it released the Krypt unlock came with it.... and BLue Steel Sub-Zero & the Cold War Pack I forget about those not being included...

 

they could of added it especially in the festive season, i'm never going to be able to unlock all that krypt stuff & i'm never going to pay R169 for it & since they got goro in your face they could of added him in the deal

we got to agree mk is greedy they could of done better, 650 bucks is a lot of dough to spend on a 2d fighter they can't possibly expect more money from people , i still got it on special i feel really sorry for those people who paid full price for a premium
edition & must still cough up more

 

Looking back I was wrong the Krypt unlock didnt come with the Premium, but in any case...

I dont feel ripped off, but how are you getting 650?

Goro was a pre order exclusive so there not going to give him away after people pre ordered to get him... The only things I paid extra for was the Krypt 19.99, Blue Steel Sub Zero, and the Kold War pack.... everything else I have came in the Kombat Pack
I got with the Premium edition, the only thing that I dont have is the Brazil outfits from soccer... ... and easy fatalities are worthless anyway, the fatalities are easy enough to pull off...

Also to do the easy fatalities you still have to be in certain spots like mid way from opponent, or across the screen from them as if you were doing the regular fatality..

 

i'm from south africa we pay in rands, i paid 650 rand for the game which is a lot of money down here but our rand is very weak to the $ now, it might not sound like a lot when you convert it to $'s but down here you can do a lot with that amount of money
example would be it's 50 rand for a 6 pack long life milk or R30 for a kg of chicken. cashiers at shopping centers earn about R400 a week. i feel ripped off with the game, maybe if goro wasn't so in your face i would of felt better. there is just no way i'm
paying 160 to open the krypt

 

Ok I understand now... I thought you were telling me it was $650.00 were youre located..... alright I can completely understand then why you feel the way you do... to be honest im suprised they havent done what they did with Mortal Kombat 9 after like
a year they put out a Ultimate collectors edition that came with all the DLC, Characters and everything... of course they have just announced 4 more fighters for Mortal Kombat X so that could be one reason there has been no announcement...

Apocalypse Pack – The Apocalypse Pack features three new character skins, reimagining characters Takeda, D’Vorah and Erron Black with an apocalyptic theme.

Brazil Pack – The Brazil Pack features three new character skins: Futbol Cage, Capoeira Liu Kang and Gaucho Kung Lao.
