Coming More XBOX Play anywhere for Windows 10.

As example Fifa or Star Wars Battlefront and Call of Duty.

XBOX Play Anywhere is a Perfect for me. But more Games would better.

There have been new PlayAnywhere titles like SoD2, Cuphead and so on announced at E3.

But i doubt we will see big 3rd Party releases on PlayAnywhere anytime soon because the games you mentioned sell pretty good on all Plattforms, so personally i cant believe we see 3rd party games at that scale anytime soon.

It depends on the games and publisher. On the PC you have Steam with a huge marketplace, and Ubisoft and EA have their own tools to sell their software.

Activision released Infinite Warfare to the Windows 10 Store, some smaller devs release their games their, too.

But the major 3rd party companies have their focus at the moment on Steam or their own distribution channel.

But sure it could change at some point that MS partners with Publishers and we see more games coming to the Windows 10 Store aswell.

It would be nice if Microsoft’s “Play Anywhere” initiative extended beyond their meagre first party offerings.

I’m still waiting for the Master Chief Collection to make a show, but it seems releasing the Halo games on Windows 10 is not a priority for Microsoft.

If the “Play Anywhere” initiative included all new Xbox releases I feel Microsoft could actually compete with Steam.

The gulf between PC and Xbox would all but disappear.

Microsoft might actually snag a few PC gamers along the way into buying an Xbox console. At that point the Xbox would be a PC in all by name.
