I have to say its a real shame that MS are catering to fans of its biggest franchise (one of the biggest in gaming/entertainment). Why don't they just leave all of that behind and move on??? /s

Don't like Halo, don't buy it. Not a hard concept to grasp I would have thought.

huh.... HA2 and ported past halo games? I'd totally buy those.... and sell my xbox 360 as I play those games a lot, with the exception of halo2.

Especially since the next Gears will be a while off yet. Be great to get the original trilogy updated and have the MP on proper servers... boner

I honestly don't trust this NeoGaf crap at all about the new XBox One SKUs
or Halo 2 Anniversary edition; A disc-less console would be rather pointless for a 500GB HDD which only means suiers will eat through the HDD that much faster. What would've made sense from the start is if the console ahd a removable HDD from the
start, same as XBox 360 because I see absolutely no excuse wehy that same data on the existing HDD can't be transferred over to a larger 1 and popped in. Even with external HDDs there's probably still bound to be latency issues while playing a game on external
storage, especially those that need use of cloud servers. As for Halo 2 Anniverary, it's bogus and not even officially confirmed by 343 Industries or Bungie because 1st they talk about 1 version coming with Halo 5 beta access as well as the Halo Live action
TV series, then a "War Collection" which brings XBox One ports of Halo 3 and 4 in their original releases. The problem with that is either 1 would be completely incomplete without the rest of the DLC. Next consider the video we saw at E3; I don't care what
they told us or tried not to, everything about it very clearly and obviously has Halo 5 writtern all over it in some way, shape, or form.

 

I seriously hope if there is a Halo 2 Anniversary, it's multiplayer is like Halo 2's. It was my first entry into console multiplayer and it was so AMAZING! I want to HaloJump again, PLEASE!

 

But Halo 2 MP is still playable on Windows. :/

 

While I'm a PC player too, planning my next large upgrade in parts. I'm not a big multiplayer fan as one thing PC players are delusional about is believing keyboards are meant for gaming. IF PC Halo 2 MP has a server that's controller ONLY, I'd totally be
down! Even with the lacking graphics

 

Dude, I don't even care about the whole keyboard and mouse vs game pads thing, I completely agree with you on it because either 1 can be adjusted, anyway. All I'm saying is based on the rumor that's suddenly going around Halo
2 Anivery just sounds so very unlikelygiven E3 and all. But yeah a a server for game pads would be great, though then again probably wouldn't look very profitable to many PC gamers with their supremacist keyboard and mouse mindsets.
