    More Xbox customization options, features and mouse and keyboard functions


    I would love to see some More Xbox customization options because personally I want a pc just for the mass amounts of customization options but I can’t afford a pc. I feel like the Xbox home screen needs more customization options like movable backgrounds, app placement (drag and drop anywhere and/or size up/down), mouse compatibility with home screen, dashboard, etc, etc. instead of just being able to use it for games and apps. I also think there should be an option to turn off, all of those game pass and other random things that are just sitting on the home screen, because personally I think there a little annoying. I also think that the apps and games you pin should be on your home screen, instead of apps that you recently used. There should be an option to turn off all of the button controls that sit on your screen that barely anyone looks at, uses, or sees, because I think you should be able to get that clean look on your home screen, you should be able to Download files as easily as pc and computer. I think the Xbox home screen says a lot about your style/personality so I don’t like the Xbox home screens cheap, uncustomizable look, I like my home screen clean easily accessible, and undirty. And lastly, Please Xbox community help me and some others out and let’s make these some new features.

    The mouse and keyboard on the console do not belong!

    It's just an optional feature. Some people are more comfortable with a keyboard and mouse and if they want to use one, they should be able to.

    FYI, you can also use a keyboard and mouse on Playstation.

    You don't need to have a keyboard and mouse. Xbox have put the feature there for the game developers to use, if they so want. It is purley up to the developers as to whether they want to add keyboard and mouse functionality, to their games and not Microsoft/Xbox.

    Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. At this time, from what I can find, all keyboards and mouse are supported. Here is our

    Keyboard and Mouse Article.

    Although, a fancier keyboard and mouse that requires certain drivers for extra buttons/features may not be 100% compatible. However, You would still be able to use the base functions.

    Note Xbox supports the use of mouse and keyboard in some games and apps, but it doesn’t work for every game or app. The game or app publisher must enable this feature for their content.

    Here's how you can do it on Xbox One:

    Connect your keyboard and mouse to your Xbox One console. You can connect them directly to the console's USB ports or use a USB hub if you need more ports.

    Once your keyboard and mouse are connected, start up Rainbow Six Siege on your Xbox One.

    In the game's main menu, navigate to the Options menu.

    From the Options menu, select the Controls tab.

    From the Controls tab, select the Controller Type option.

    Change the Controller Type to Mouse and Keyboard.

    Customize your keyboard and mouse settings to your liking.
