More than half of the time Xbox streaming on my phone won't work. It's just a black screen.

Unless the phone or tablet you want to use for Xcloud is extremely old, it should to work on any modern phone or tablet. Other than the type of screen the device uses and its resolution, the other specs won't matter a jot. Xcloud games will be streamed,
the phone/tablet will just handle the video feed, nothing more. No need for a new device for this.

As for a dedicated handheld, no one can can currently compete with Nintendo.

There appears to be much more going on than the black screen bug. Here are just a few of the things I have noticed since the update.

1) Black Screen bug (obviously)

2) Voice commands have a much lower recognition rate.

3) Gestures have gotten the "Touchy" problem the 360 has in that it will recognize gestures from things such as your foot up on the recliner.

4) Not all voice commands work. Half the time I try to turn the xbox off via voice commands, the YES command will not work and I have to turn on the controller.

5) Keyboard input only works as controller buttons in most app searches (such as hulu and netflix). Meaning you cannot actually type, hitting the enter is the menu button, B=B controller button, X=X controller button, etc.

6) When pushing a DLNA audio stream, XBOX music does not start the stream, but instead gives you an annoying screen where you have to choose trial or explore...I don't want your worthless xbox music service, I just want to play my stream. You have to choose
explore, then the stream will play.

That is all I have noticed so far, but the length of this list leads me to believe this was a very poorly tested update and more issues will surface.

Probably won't be a thing until Microsoft make their streaming service available to PCs as well. The promotional material is all about android devices, with phones more specifically than tablets. I tested the Cloud gaming beta with my Galaxy Tab S4 tablet
rather than my phone. The streaming service was quite good on a bigger screen.

Since most will use their phone, there won't be much call for keyboard and mouse support. I don't think they have any plans until the service is brought to PC (which hasn't been confirmed either).

I've also tried out the GeForce Experience, it's pretty good. Only problem is a lot of of big publishers have blacklisted their games from the service.

I have the exact same problem. Use to stream on my phone with connected controller all the time but now controller won't work except pressing B button to stop streaming.

Mine was working fine until the. update today. Now just black screen on streams. Chat working fine.
