More than 1 profile

Am I understanding this correctly, that you can only have one profile on a gold membership? I have 3 kids, who want to play each other online but can't do that unless I purchase 3 gold memberships at 60 bucks a pop??????

Create an additional profile on your xbox, skip the gold membership page and redeem your extra trial code on that profile, then sign that profile out and sign back in as your main profile.
You'll then have access to your 2nd trial :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Need more than one gold profile

You can go the Family Plan route, but keep in mind only one of your accounts will be primary, and the other will essentially be a child account. I would recommend looking for promotional deals on the console banners for LIVE time, or see about a discount
on Amazon.com.

That is correct on the 360 - only one profile per Gold membership. Previously there was a Family Plan that allowed 4 profiles for $100/year, but that was discontinued last year. On the Xbox One, if the main profile has a Gold membership, then all other profiles
on the machine have access to Gold features (up to 10 profiles I believe).

It's an investment, if you'd like to have access to all the perks, you need Gold. You can buy the Xbox One, which a single gold goes for all users.

So if I own the 360 and have Gold. My two children have to share a profile. But if I own the Xbox one then they both can play with diff. profiles . Because my son and daughter both like xbox live and they have their own 360. So they cant play without one
of them having to sign in and play on the others profile. Like my daughter has a different avatar and my son has a diff. avatar. so my daughter has to sign in on my sons avatar or not play live. Is this right. Yes we have gold and have had it for a long time.
