More Streaming Apps

I think they should be more Apps in the U.K like STV Player My 5 and more TV Streaming Apps to choose from and Radio Streaming Apps. There is plenty of games to choose from not very many Video and Radio Streaming Services

It's actually up to the TV broadcasters whether their services come to Xbox or not. Microsoft can't just make the apps.

It will be great to have more streaming apps on some in some country's but the only problem the control of the rights of the movies in some contrys its really hard to "settle".

Probably not many companies think about releasing an xbox app and there may be some constraints that don't allow them to do so.

Hi,

The reason for that is Mixer will be no more as of July 22nd. They will be moving that platform and merging with Facebook gaming. Xbox used Mixer formerly beam as the main streaming app, before that it was Twitch. Most will be going back or to Twitch for
streaming including the ambassadors. You can download the Twitch app on your console. To stream you have to open the app first and mess with your pre stream settings then hit broadcast and return to the game of choice.

Because YouTube would have to make an app for the Xbox One to stream to YouTube.

Instead, Microsoft has a more powerful streaming platform called Mixer, where your viewers can even interact with you, which is not possible on YouTube. Also, Twitch still has their own app on the Xbox Marketplace where you can stream to Twitch.

Since Google/YouTube didn't do a streaming app for the Xbox, you're currently stuck with these two supported streaming apps (Mixer and Twitch), or you need to use a capturing device on your PC to stream to YouTube (or other streaming services, or you can
use https://restream.io/ to stream to multiple streaming services at the same time).

More Streaming Apps
