More questions about the One

How the heck do you go to settings without having to say Xbox go to settings? Not that I don't mind, but I couldn't find it at all!

Also, in the settings, what does turning 'closed captioning' on do? Oh and is there a way to turn off vibration completely? On the 360, it w as easy to do that, but on the One it seems I have to do it for every game, which is annoying lol.

I think it depends on the weapon. Some raw weapons may have good strength scaling, like big axes and the such. But generally, the scaling is pretty middling on a lot of them (but as they also have the ability to go to +15, they may actually deal good overall
damage, and can still be buffed with spells or resin).

It's just as Unspoken Lies said. Remember though, weapons like Raw, Lightning, Fire have horrible stat scaling or virtually none. Magic/Enchanted weapons you make scale with your INT, Divine/Occult with faith and standard go with whatever initial scaling
they had before, possibly better.

 

When you're on the dashboard, just press start, now called the menu button to go to settings. Closed captioning just gives you subtitles. You can turn off vibration off in the settings as well.

 

Oh derp. Subtitles for what though? Everything? I do like me some subtitles. And vibration is there too?! I must be *** because I could not find it at all. Someone needs to tell me where the heck that option is lol.

 

I could have swore there was an option to turn off controller vibration. Just looked and I couldn't find it. Welp, that's lame.

 

They need to make the menus a little streamlined, I don't know how many times I've had to go and adjust the sound mixer for my snap features but have to pause or cancel the thing I was doing just to go through the 4 menus first. Really annoying, you'd think
they make a shortcup feature for something like that.
