    More powerful version of the Xbox series x?


    Microsoft released the Xbox one, and then down the line they released the more powerful version, the Xbox one X.

    Now that they have released the Xbox series x, do you think that in a couple of years they will release an even more powerful version? A version that is still technically within the same generation just like they did with the Xbox one X?

    Any insight is appreciated

    There is no x or one requirement for Xbox one games. Xbox one x has more power that's it

    Series consoles have more powrr in spades from xbox one

    And there is no xbox one series x

    Just xbox series s or x

    Yes it will. The Xbox One X is a more powerful version of the Xbox One, so all Xbox One games will play on it. The game should also work on a Series X too.

    Microsoft would be more likely to launch a cheaper version, which would be less than the Series X. Perhaps in a few years, a more powerful version, focused on 8K, will be released.

    Xbox series X or plain Xbox?

    From what I have heard the console is called Xbox. The Series X bit basically means they can do more with it afterwards, so you might get a series C for cloud based console or Series S for a less powerful all digital version. Or even may be a faster version
    of the console later in the consoles life and have another letter after it's name.
