not sure how to say this. im not a pro. it seems like there are too many settings for different things, on the same thing, like- windows has there own settings... and the control panel has those same settings, some how finding a way to simplefy this,
(or maybe it cant happen for code reasons)

ive been doing preview builds for a while

i have had xbox 1 & xbox 1x and game tested

You see the same settings in multiple places because the settings app is meant to provide a simplified view of the most used settings, while the control panel has a more extensive set of settings. Some of these settings in each overlap, and that is intentional.
However, you'd be much better off posting Windows feedback in a Windows forum, not the Xbox forum.

Setting options are provided in multiple locations so they're easier to find and make finding what you need faster no matter your skill level is in technology.

If you look at it like this, let's say I have a job aid that happens to be relevant to two different departments in my organization. Do I put the job aid just in one of the departments folders or both? Mind you, for privacy reasons they aren't allowed
to see each other folders.

I actually appreciate the effort windows has put in to try and make finding what you need easier. It might not be perfect, but it's still appreciated imo.

Windows has evolved over the years so it doesn't matter which type of media you use to access, phone, tablet, xbox, pc. They designed it that way so you can jump from each one under the same OS. That's why the xbox dashboard mimics Win 10 and vice versa.
All part of the "seamless integration".

Are you talking about Windows 10 or Xbox? As somebody who has used Windows both home and for work, since Windows 3.1 I find it easy to navigate round and have no difficulty in getting to where I want to be. That is pretty much the same with Xbox, from the
guide you can navigate to anywhere within the infrastructure.

This, the only time I get thrown is when they move a control or change the name of the funcyion, then it's just a slight adjustment.
