    xbox one language. english in austria/germany?

    Sadly, there's no way to set the system language to English if you don't live in an English speaking country. I have the same problem, I absolutely hate the Brazilian Portuguese dubbed games and keep my settings as English/Canada (because Canada is more awesome, sorry US), but can't use credit card or Xbox Movies without resetting the system.
    For now, the best we can do is vote in one of the several Xbox Feedback demands to dissociate languages from region on Xbox or let you download games on a language different from the system language.

    Thanks for understanding. It can't be more complicated then

    if(system language == 'English') {

    Dashboard language = English;

    }

    or am i over simplifying here? More languages :)

    If you want to be more sure about the language, look for a disc distributed to the Americas.

    That way it is more certain that the game will be downloaded in that language.

    It is worth remembering that your platform needs to be configured for this region as well.

    When it comes to the scope of language, that is up the developers on whether or not they want to invest the time and money into adding more languages.

    Check your Language and Locale settings, if the Locale is set to a non-English speaking country the game will more than likely play in that language.
