More headset and controller issue's

My headset adapter is not picking my headset. When I'm in party chat or game chat my mic is dead and to fix it I have to power down my xbox, sometimes more then twice. Anyone else having this issue?

Did anyone at Microsoft actually test the controller with human subjects?

Not personally had any of these issue's. The only thing I'd like is a more solid feeling controller. A good screw would be nice

Yes. Same problem, yet restarting xbox one has no effect.

I can't chat in party or game with oem chat headset and i recently purchased the headset adapter and the official xbox stereo headset, same problem. I can hear people in party and game chat, yet they can't hear me.

My controller is updated.

I first had this issue during the titanfall beta...in a match, everything's good, i can hear friends and they can hear me, out of the blue they can't hear me anymore. Hasn't worked since.

I've tried everything, no effect. My new controller arrives today. maybe it's a controller issue. I'll let everyone know.

Is there anything for people that are having in-game audio issues? I can hear the game, but can't talk during matches, but in lobby (Titanfall), no issues at all on FIFA, and record and talk fine in party/skype/etc

i am having the same issue with the mic, i have the Polk 4shot but i also know people with Turtle Beach headsets having it too. I end up plugging the controller into the usb and unplugging it and it works.

I am having the same issue mine just started the problem like 3 days ago friends can't hear me through the mic

I'm also having the same static issue with my soundbar. I've unplugged both my headset and soundbar to see if it would stop. Sadly the cracking and static still show up. I also tried a different soundbar and headset with the Same results. So it's nothing
on my end and that the march patch is responsible.

Does the headset portion work correctly, in other words do you just have an issue with the mic.

Can you try another controller, or better yet try using the headset on a friends xbox or take it to gamestop

If the headset works on another controller then it may be an issue with the controller or console, if this headset does not work with another controller, then it may be an issue with the headset.

Not all headsets are supported with the xbox

Only thing I can think of is a bad cable. Thing to try is trying the headset in another controller. If the issue is resolved, you're first controller has the issue. More than likely, it is the headset itself. If you feel comfortable with wires that small
have at it, but the easiest solution is more than likely a new headset/chat cable (depending on the mic you are using).
