More free games from MS

The Xbox One has already outsold the Xbox 360 for being on sale the same amount of time. How could the shareholders not be happy. There will probably be a bigger surge in sales once the sale starts that will run through the holidays. Halo and COD will
both sell systems if the past is any indication.

 

How long does a system have to be out that the company can give away bonuses or free games and not have someone who bought it day one feel slighted or get upset?? what?? 2 years?? so what happens then, if MS decides to bundle it with 2 games @ $350 w/
the kinect,would the people who bought it after the first year complain they only got one game and paid $399.. 4 years??? and include EA access for free with 3 games and a 2tb HDD.. so what happens to the people that bought it after 3 years??? do they get
to complain?? natural fact of business... the longer an item is out.. the cheaper it eventually be...

 

^^ I see your point, but I can see 24's point too. It would be nice to get a copy of it as well even though I completed it. You never know though, maybe they will have a free game for X1 Day One owners closer to Christmas or towards the day of release.

Really don't care if Microsoft gives away games or Xbox one for free....

Got mine,paid for it and i'm fine with that.Same thing with games that i bought.

Ryse is a good game,good news for people who get it for free.

 

24 was not angry about the fact that MS is selling bundles, or that these bundles are on sale for $50 less than the system is normally sold for. He is angry about the fact that MS is giving the people who purchase these games a free game that is not advertised,
and thus is not a marketing ploy to get more consoles sold, like the bundles and sales are. This free game is merely a "thank you", giving a nod to the people who bought the console.

So, he is asking, where is the nod to Day One buyers? While I am not really upset with the fact others get shown more appreciation than I get. But I do wonder, is MS can give away all these free games, why can't they give away one of these games as a Games
with Gold deal? I understand these games cost more to give for free, but I also know they have given out games like Forza for free since the system's release. How many more people would pick it up for free if they offered it now to all Gold members?

 

Free games with gold,i never got a game that i didn't played previously.

At least give away games that i wouldn't buy or play,is a bit smarter.

I already own or played games that i want.I won't wait to get them for free....

I didn't get a message but then I already own Ryse so not missing out.

Somehow I doubt a lot of people got this message. Probably only a small percentage of people who bought the game.

 

My bet is that RYSE will soon be free from GWG soon.

 

@Dragon *slow clap* That is exactly my point. Again I am not even a Day 1 buyer. And I get that if you wait you will get better deals. But it is confusing that new buyers get an even better unadvertised reward and Day 1 buyers are sitting here like W.T.F.
While its cool that MS is doing this I am curious how many people will be put off of jumping into next gen early when you can wait for desperate MS to show up and milk them.

 

Saw this around the net. Awesome for the people who got this. I saw some posts on other forums with people complaining about not getting it. One reason or another. But that is to be expected I guess. I am just happy for the people who received it.

 

I agree with Akame, I see no reasons to give a free game to new users who bought a bundle. I bought day one and have no complaints and don't feel entitled, but this is hardly a level playing field. Either all purchasers across the board get a free
game or no one should.

 

^^ True, but didn't a lot of Day 1 people get free games and codes to unlock Killer Instinct etc. That should have happened to everyone in my opinion especially if you were upgrading. Why choose some and not others?
