More duration time for the Xbox One's Game DVR

To the programmers or designers at Microsoft is there a way you can give the Game DVR more duration time than 5 minutes. When I send videos to my onedrive account to post on YouTube I want to be able to post videos that have more time instead of
having to edit numerous videos to make a 20 to 25 minutes video and I'm pretty sure that many people like myself how can't afford a capture card and can only use the Xbox's Game DVR to post videos from.

The account will not be able to upload Game DVR and Upload Studio content to Xbox Live for a specific duration, often 7, 30, or 90 days. The account will not be able to communicate on Xbox Live for a specific duration, often 1, 7, or 14 days.

 

Xbox One and Samsung SMT-H3270 OneGuide (Time Warner)

I'm currently unable to use Xbox One's OneGuide with my Time Warner Cable provided Samsung SMT-H3270 cable box/DVR. Live TV works fine however the OneGuide set-up can't seem to find a power code to power up the DVR.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

It would be cool even if it was 10 minutes. I would also like them to record the actual achievement notifications as well to give your videos more validity.

 

Save your money for a capture card. There is sooooo much more stuff you can do with your videos. You can utilize stuff like Sony Vegas Studio to edit the videos and make them really fancy.

 

work around... stream to twitch... archive your streams.. save file from there... not the best quality...

but to be honest 5 minutes is long enough.... anything longer than that is not worth it IMO

I would like the Xbox Game DVR to last a little longer than 5 minutes as well. 10 minutes would be perfect in my opinion.

 

That's why people buy a PVR, a highly popular place for sharing videos is on Youtube. I have the Hauppauge HD PVR2 which uses HDMI connection to my Xbox 360 and Xbox 1 console. I know what it's like I've seen many clips and theres no game music no chatter
no commentary and less than a minute clips. There is one thing that it does well and it's face cam with the Kinect.

 

10 minutes of Game DVR would be nice. However, For how long your videos are, it's best that you save up for a capture card. The Elgato Game Capture HD, a popular product in that realm, is $120 at most retailers and possibly the cheapest out of all the solutions.
