    new backwards compatibility game should be tested by preview program members

    Some backwards compatible games have been made available to preview program members before being released to the public. However, I agree that there should be more testing done for all backwards compatible games.

    Xbox one will be backwards compatible starting this holiday with select games and more games add in the later months. Preview members will be able to try backwards compatible before the official release

    I personally think their will be.

    Even at this early stage, I think microsofts xbox division is hard at work bringing in more, and more developers to the BC program than we could possibly imagine. Or if they are not, then they should be. for this is one program that can restore or even UP
    consumer confidence despite X1's other shortcoming.

    Yeah I would think new games will be added monthly for preview members and then when it launches for everyone there will be a large catalogue of games available.

    For sure. The preview program is just testing the waters to start. The voting section on the feedback site gives you a good idea of the games we might see available whenever the next wave comes. So awesome.

    Should I get an Xbox 360 or Xbox One?

    XBOX one has backward compatibility already. More games get dumped into the list for preview members in September and October and November for the rest. So XBOX1 should be a easy choice. Also confirmed all 360 free games with gold will be backward compatible
    right away. Well at least for preview members.

    Only a few will play for preview members at the moment but backwards compatibility is being released to everyone in November.

    Not all 360 games will be backwards compatible.
