MONSTER HUNTER WORLD HELP

I have an xbox one and have put in roughly 200+ hours into Monster hunter world. I had to uninstall the game to make room for something and when I re installed the game my progress was gone. I can’t find my saved game files anywhere. When I load the game
up it only gives me the option to start from the beginning Does anyone have a fix for this other than restarting the game over. I am really bummed and just want my progress back.

Very sorry to hear about the saved game. Let's go ahead and
remove your profile from the console and then >power cycle the console. Then sign back in and let us know if you are able to see your original saved game.

If you do not see the saved games after trying that then you would need to start over I am afraid.
