    I see I have cloud saved data on my Xbox how do I retrieve it I created a new save and nothing popped up any way to just go into setting to download my cloud save on Monster hunter world?

    I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your saved data.

    Cloud-saved data is automatically synced with your console upon launching a game if it detects there's no local save available for it. This is usually represented by a pop-up screen that says "Syncing data for..." followed by the name of your game. In the same way, when it detects the cloud save available is different from the one stored in your console, a screen will come up and prompt you to choose between those two files.

    From what you mentioned above, it sounds like your cloud save might have been overwritten by the one you just created.
    Have you already tried deleting your local save data for this game? this should force the console to sync the most recent cloud save available.

    To do this:

    - Go to Settings > General > Network Settings > Go offline
    - Close the game
    - Go to My Games & Apps > Monster Hunter: World > Save data > select your profile > Delete from console.
    - Go to Settings > General > Network Settings, and take your console online again.
    - Launch the game
