Monster hunter won’t download

In preparation for iceborne I decided to load up the game before release and get my character ready. MHW needed an update and when that update got to about 11% it stopped and would not start up again. So I tried few things like restarting console and power
cycle, still stuck.

Canceled the install witch deleted the game from the console so I tried downloading the game again and this time it got to 18% and stopped. tried pause/unpause on it, still stuck. Then tried everything again and nothing worked, except one of the tries had
the download go to 24% and stop.

Wanted to see if the problem was on my end or not so I tried downloading other updates and games, those all worked just fine without issues. So im out of ideas and can’t figure out what the problem is.

Are you installing to an external hard drive? Is that connected via USB hub? If so can you try installing to the local drive and see if that changes the issue? Also just want to verify there is enough free space on the specific drive it's installing
to.

Ya none of that has worked. Im just not sure what it could be. All my other games and updates work just fine. Its only MHW thats being weird. Thanks for the help tho

ya im installing it to the local drive the xbox came with and I have more then enough space for it, deleted alot of stuff yesterday to make sure.

Sounds like you've tried some steps, but I'd recommend
following all the options here to see if that resolves your problem.

If that doesn't resolve it for you, let us know and we can troubleshoot further.

Hm. Have you tried factory reset with option keep my games and apps? Also in settings of your xbox try clear xbox 360. If all games work fine issue must be on the developer side. Have you tried their help or forums? I saw other posts regarding issues with
Iceborne.
