Monopoly Plus won't install

I have the same issue. The game starts ("ready to start") but any option to play gives me a msg to download smartglass and play on my phone or tablet? No idea why they'd sell an Xbox edition only to tell you to go play on something else. Feeling cheated
of $5.90

Before the game freezes and closes, does the U play loading icon briefly appear on the screen to show at least that it is trying to connect to the network?

I need help with monopoly plus. When I start the game, it asks me what profile am I using, once I select mine, it freezes and closes the game out. Has anyone else had this happen and know how to fix it?

The issue is with Ubisoft's U-Play connection with the game from everything I've seen. This isn't an issue with Xbox or the Network connection, so troubleshooting any other way such as reinstalling the
game is pointless.

There's two options.

1. If you have a Ubisoft account, log in and accept the new terms of use by going to: https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/game/monopoly-plus/ If
   you don't have a UBI account, you need to make one and link it to your Xbox profile. The game is dependent on a UBI connection, which is why you need to make and link the account.
2. Simply start the game and at any time (after language selection, but just before the sign-in screen) go to Settings > Network Settings > Go Offline. Once offline, go
   back into the game, and proceed to sign in - and viola, you're in! Now you can go re-enable your internet connection.

I had the same issue and I fixed it with option 1.
