    Monkey Island 2: SE always hangs the Xbox One when you go to the swamp.


    In the first section of the game, when you try to go the swamp from the overhead map, the game will always hang. The console continues to work, so I've managed to report feedback from the console. Not sure if this is a BC issue, or an issue with the game,
    but it's game breaking for me at the moment as I can't do anything else in the game as far as I can tell.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Monkey Island 2 SE - Deals of the Week

    Monkey Island 2 SE is pictured as being one of the "Deals of the Week" games on my dashboard, but when I select to view the full list of games it isn't there.



    Has anyone contacted Microsoft about this?

    I think this might be a BC issue, as I fired up the 360, and the same save would allow me to go to the swamp without any issue. I managed to play past this bit for a while, and then I could continue on the Xbox One. Not sure if I have to go back there again
    or not, but at least I have a work around for now. Would be nice if this could be fixed though, especially if it is a BC issue.

    Heya!

    We would recommend uninstalling the game,
    power cycling the console    , and then reinstalling.

    If you still run into issues please post back and let us know!

    Hi Mister Getafix,

    Thanks for the response, but switching between my 360 and the Xbox One I've managed to finish the game, so I'm unlikely to try that now. It did repeatedly hang in another area which I also submitted feedback for - when trying to open the coffin in the crypt
    on scabb island. I did wonder if it might be a dodgy data file, but that would have been a first, so didn't fancy trying that for it to just fail again.

    They had The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2 on one collection. I'd buy The Curse of Monkey Island & Escape from Monkey Island from the marketplace. What would be really neat though is all 4 on the one disc collection.
