    MONK:

    • Primary
      • Fists of Thunder
    Attack a single target with a series of rapid punches that can knock back enemies.

    Thunderclap

    Teleport to the target and release an electric shockwave with every punch.



    Lightning Flash

    Increase your chance to dodge.



    Static Charge

    Your target is charged with static electricity and takes additional dmg when other enemies are hit by Fists of Thunder.



    Quickening

    Critical hits generate additional Spirit for each target hit.



    Bounding Light

    Every 3rd punch releases chain lightning instead of causing knockback.



      • Deadly Reach
    Strike multiple enemies in a row with each attack.

    Piercing Trident

    Increases the area of effect of the 2nd and 3rd strikes.



    Keen Eye

    The 3rd strike increases your armor for a limited time.



    Scattered Blows

    The 3rd strike hits enemies with lightning.



    Strike from Beyond

    Critical hits generate additional Spirit for each target hit.



    Foresight

    The 3rd strike increases the damage of all attacks.



      • Crippling Wave
    Sweeping punches that cripple enemies, reducing their atk and movement speed.

    Mangle

    Increases damage of Crippling Wave.



    Concussion

    Crippling Wave reduces the damage enemies deal.



    Rising Tide

    Critical Hits generate additional Spirit for each target hit.



    Tsunami

    Increase range and movement speed reduction of Crippling Wave’s 3rd atk.



    Breaking Wave

    Enemies hit by Crippling Wave take additional dmg for a limited time.



      • Way of the Hundred Fists
    Strike groups of enemies with a series of devastating punches.

    Hands of Lightning

    Increases the number of hits in the second strike.



    Blazing Fists

    Critical Hits increase your attack and movement speeds.



    Fists of Fury

    Perform a short dash on the first target and deal additional holy damage over time.



    Spirited Salvo

    Every use of this skill has a chance to generate additional Spirit.



    Windforce Flurry

    The 3rd strike generates a wave of wind that damages enemies in its path.



    • Secondary
      • Lashing Tail Kick
    Unleash a deadly roundhouse kick that is effective against small groups of enemies.

    Vulture Claw Kick

    Release a torrent of fire that burns nearby enemies and causes knockback.



    Sweeping Armada

    Increase knockback distance and slows movement speed of struck enemies.



    Spinning Flame Kick

    Hurl a column of fire that burns enemies in its path.



    Scorpion Sting

    Enemies have a chance to be stunned instead of knocked back.



    Hand of Ytar

    Attack enemies at a long range, slowing them.



      • Tempest Rush
    Charge through enemies, damaging and knocking them back.

    Northern Breeze

    Reduces the Spirit cost of Tempest Rush.



    Tailwind

    Increase movement speed of Tempest Rush.



    Flurry

    Increase the amount of enemies slowed.



    Slipstream

    Reduces damage taken while running.



    Bluster

    Enemies knocked back have their damage reduced.



      • Wave of Light
    Ring a mystic bell that unleashes a wave of light that crushes all enemies in its path.

    Wall of Light

    Increase the damage of the initial strike.



    Explosive Light

    Release bursts of energy that deal holy damage.



    Empowered Wave

    Reduces the Spirit cost of Wave of Light.



    Blinding Light

    Critical Hits Stun enemies.



    Pillar of the Ancients

    Summon an ancient pillar that crushes nearby enemies.

    Blinding Echo

    A second flash blinds all nearby enemies.



    Searing Light

    Increase the chance blinded elite enemies will miss when attacking.



    Faith in the Light

    After using Blinding Flash, all your attacks deal extra damage for a limited time.



      • Breath of Heaven
    Heal yourself and nearby allies.

    Circle of Scorn

    Breath of Heaven deals holy dmg to enemies.



    Circle of Life

    Increase the healing power of Breath of Heaven.



    Blazing Wrath

    Breath of Heaven increases the dmg of your attacks for a limited time.



    Infused with Light

    Gain additional Spirit for Spirit generating attacks for a limited time.



    Penitent Flame

    Enemies exposed to Breath of Heaven run away in fear.



      • Serenity
    Become immune to all attacks and control effects for 3 seconds.

    Peaceful Repose

    When activated, Serenity heals you.



    Reap what is Sown

    When Serenity ends, the shield explodes, dealing a portion of the absorbed dmg back at attackers.



    Tranquility

    Extends the protective shield to your allies and makes them immune to control effects like slow and frozen.



    Ascension

    Increases the duration of Serenity.



    Instant Karma

    While Serenity Is active, projectile and melee attacks have a chance to be reflected back at the attacker.



      • Inner Sanctuary
    Create a runic circle that enemies can’t enter.

    Safe Haven

    You and your allies within the circle regenerate life.



    Sanctified Ground

    When Inner Sanctuary expires, it sanctifies the ground, slowing enemies that move through it.



    Consecration

    Increases the duration of Inner Sanctuary.



    Circle of Protection

    You and your allies within the circle take less damage.



    Forbidden Palace

    You and your allies within the circle have their damage increased.



    • Techniques
      • Dashing Strike
    Quickly dash and strike an enemy.

    Way of the Falling Star

    After striking an enemy, your movement speed is increased.



    Flying Side Kick

    Perform a flying kick that can Stun your target.



    Quicksilver

    Reduces the Spirit cost of Dashing Strike.



    Soaring Skull

    Launch yourself through the air and Slow all enemies along your path.



    Blinding Speed

    Increase your chance to Dodge when using Dashing Strike.



      • Exploding Palm
    Strike and Bleed an enemy. The enemy will explode if killed while Bleeding.

    The Flesh is Weak

    Your target takes additional dmg from attacks.



    Strong Spirit

    If the target explodes after bleeding, gain Spirit for each enemy caught in the blast.



    Creeping Demise

    Slows the movement speed of the target.



    Impending Doom

    Increase the duration of the Bleed effect.



    Essence Burn

    Causes the target to burn. If the target dies while burning, it explodes and ignites nearby enemies.



      • Sweeping Wind
    Surround yourself in a vortex that damages nearby enemies. Critical Hits intensify the vortex.

    Master of Wind

    Increase the duration of the vortex.



    Blade Storm

    Increase the dmg of Sweeping Wind.



    Fire Storm

    Increase the radius of the vortex.



    Inner Storm

    Gain Spirit whenever the vortex is at its maximum.



    Cyclone

    While the vortex is at its maximum, every Critical Hit spawns a lightning tornado that electrocutes enemies.



    • Focus
      • Cyclone Strike
    Mystical force pulls nearby enemies towards you and blasts them.

    Eye of the Storm

    Reduces the Spirit cost of Cyclone Strike.



    Implosion

    Increases the distance enemies will be pulled towards you.



    Sunburst

    Changes the blast into a fiery explosion that causes Fear.

    Wall of Wind

    After using Cyclone Strike, gain a chance to dodge attacks for a limited time.



    Soothing Breeze

    Cyclone Strike heals you and your allies.



      • Seven-Sided Strike
    Move with blinding speed and strike nearby enemies while being immune to attacks yourself.

    Sudden ****

    Teleport to the target, increasing dmg per strike.



    Several-Sided Strike

    Increase the number of strikes.



    Pandemonium

    Enemies hit by Seven-Sided Strike have a chance to be Stunned.



    Sustained Attack

    Reduces the cooldown of Seven-Sided Strike.



    Fulminating Onslaught

    Each strike triggers an explosion that deals holy dmg.



      • Mystic Ally
    Summon a mystic ally to fight alongside you.

    Water Ally

    Your ally gains the ability to perform a wave attack.



    Fire Ally

    Your ally gains the ability to unleash a flaming kick.



    Air Ally

    Each of your allies attacks has a chance to regenerate your Spirit.



    Eternal Ally

    Your ally gains a chance to be reborn when destroyed.



    Earth Ally

    Increases the maximum Life for you and your ally.



    • Mantras
      • Mantra of Evasion
    Increase you and your allies chance to dodge attacks.

    Hard Target

    Mantra of Evasion grants an Armor bonus.



    Divine Protection

    When you or an ally are close to death, a shield of protection forms around you, reducing dmg taken.



    Wind through the Reeds

    Mantra of Evasion increase your movement speed.



    Perseverance

    Mantra of Evasion reduces the duration of all control impairing effects like Slow or Frozen.



    Backlash

    Successfully dodging an attack has a chance to create a burst of flame that dmgs nearby enemies.



      • Mantra of Retribution
    Enemies take damage when they attack you or your allies using melee weapons.

    Retaliation

    Increases the amount of dmg reflected, and reflects ranged attacks too.



    Transgression

    Increases attack speed for you and allies.



    Indignation

    Mantra of Retribution has a chance to Stun enemies.



    Against All Odds

    Mantra of Retribution has a chance to restore Spirit.



    Collateral Damage

    Enemies damaged by Mantra of Retribution have a chance to burst and deal holy dmg to nearby enemies.



      • Mantra of Healing
    Increase Life regeneration for you and your allies.

    Sustenance

    Increases Life regeneration.



    Circular Breathing

    Regenerates Spirit.



    Born of Inspiration

    Gain Life when you hit an enemy.



    Heavenly Body

    Increases Vitality.



    Time of Need

    Increases resistances to all damage types.



      • Mantra of Conviction
    Increases dmg taken by nearby enemies.

    Overawe

    Increases dmg done to enemies.



    Intimidation

    Enemies affected by Mantra of Conviction deal less dmg.



    Dishearten

    Slows the movement of enemies.



    Reclamation

    You and your allies have a chance to be healed when using melee attacks under the effects of Mantra of Conviction.



    Submission

    Enemies affected by Mantra of Conviction take holy dmg over time.



    • Passives
      • Fleet Footed
        • Increases movement speed by 10%
      • Resolve
        • Dmg you deal reduces enemy dmg by 20% for 2.5 seconds
      • Exalted Soul
        • Increases maximum Spirit by 100 and Spirit Regeneration by 1 per second
      • Transcendence
        • Every point of Spirit spent heals you for X Life
      • Chant of Resonance
        • While one Mantra is active you gain 2 Spirit per second
      • Seize the Initiative
        • Your armor is increased by 50% of your Dexterity
      • The Guardians Path
        • While dual-wielding you gain a 15% chance to dodge incoming attacks. While using a two handed weapon, all Spirit generation is increased by 35%
      • Sixth Sense
        • Dodge chance increased by an amount equal to 30% of your Crit Chance
      • Pacifism
        • While you are under Stun, Fear, Charm, or Immobilize effect, all dmg taken is reduced by 75%
      • Beacon of Ytar
        • Reduces all cooldowns by 20%
      • Guiding Light
        • Whenever you use a direct heal skill on another player, you and the other player deal 20% more dmg for 15 seconds
      • One With Everything
        • Your resistance to all elements is equal to your highest elemental resistance
      • Combination Strike
        • Each different Spirit Generator ability you use increases your dmg by 8% for 3 seconds
      • Near Death Experience
        • When receiving fatal dmg, you are instead restored to 35% of maximum life and 35% Spirit. Can only be used once every 60 seconds

    Soo I bought Diablo 3.

    The portions you may find repetitive are just a means to an end.

    Even so, there are tons of moves and tons of runes that modify those moves. There is tons of loot and as you find better stuff, better stats and exotic skills open up. You want to get through the main game and unlock adventure mode.

    It's not a game for everyone, but what game is?

    I haven't been able to stop playing it. Imported my Lvl 34 monk and have my Lvl 58 crusader. About to beat Act 4 and get to Act 5. Also, there's even more loot that can only be obtained in Torment difficulties. The game is also even more entertaining with coop...

    Too many Monks

    In my run, I chose a Monk because the DH seemed severely under powered when I was first starting out. I chose the Monk because at level 10, I'll be playing a Barb in HC. On PC, I have several 60's and when it PC first came out, Monk was the class to be,
    and now it's Barb or WD mostly.

    Yes, thats correct. The D3 wiki site is shaped to aid the PC players. I do agree that there should be a console friendly list out there. I can help you get what skills are in what category and their runes. But due to all my characters being lvl 60 I no longer
    have access to knowing when the skills/runes are unlocked. I currently have a lvl 60 monk, barbarian, witch doctor, wizard and a 58 demon hunter. I'll try to post the Full List in a separate thread and hopefully we can get it stickied for all to see. I will
    be updating it and editing as new info or corrections are brought to my attention. Its currently 12:11 as of now. Around 430 I'll start assembling the list. :)

    Update! Still working on this. Taking longer then expected. Mainly due to lack of focus and motivation pol. Keep playing Diablo instead of writing the guide up. I will try to finish this before next Saturday. I have talked to the forum moderator aka Scratch.
