    Monitor randomly shuts off while playing Warzone on Series X


    Currently have a Series X and am playing on a Asus 27inch XFO series gaming monitor.

    While playing Warzone, my monitor will randomly go black and shut off for 3-5 seconds and then come back on. This ONLY happens on Warzone and Black Ops. The shut off isn't consistent. Sometimes I can play go 30+ minutes without it happening and sometimes it happens within a couple minutes of each other.

    I play NBA 2k21 and it never happens.

    Any suggestions on what I can do to try and fix this would be greatly appreciated.

    I also have the issue of it shutting off at random times (during both games, not just COD) and I will get it fixed soon, just enjoying playing it too much atm.

    Yes. I tried downloading Wired and over Wi-Fi. No change.

    May I know if the game is installed on the internal storage? If it is, and a power reset and reinstalling the game did not work, the other thing you could do is to factory reset your console:

    Press the Xbox button > Settings > System > Console info > Reset this xbox > Reset and keep my games and apps. The "Reset and keep my games and apps" option will not make you lose your games, but you will need to sign in to your account again.

    See if the issue persists and please let me know.

    In this case, since this is happening only with this game, this might be a game specific issue. I would suggest you to report it to the developers.
