    Really to get the best from your One X you would need to purchase a 4K monitor. The Asus VG275Q is only full HD, also you would need some form of audio output and the monitor only has a 27" screen.

    You can buy a JVC LT43C800 43" 4K UHD HDR10 tv for considerably less than the Asus monitor.

    Full HD has a pixel count of just over 2,000,000 pixels whereas 4K has four times as many, so just over 8,000,000 pixels.

    I have the Asus MG28UQ for my Xbox OneX and wife is using the VG245H
    for Xbox OneS. Both have been great monitors and fairly inexpensive as well.

    I am experiencing this same problem as well as other people with 144hz monitors that support the 1440p and 120hz resolutions on the xbox oneX. I have responded to the xbox ambassador below and hope to get an answer. this needs to be looked by the xbox team
    to see if they can provide the support in a future xbox update.

    Seems like only a few tvs and samsung monitors can select those resolutions.
