monitor flickers when loading in games

its a va panel that is why, i used to get that until i upgraded, i had a 1660 before and it is caused by running gsync on it, it does not do it as much if you set the refresh to 120hz instead. nothing you can do about it as it has to do with how the screen voltage fluctuates at high refresh with dimming and brightening.

basically when your game is loading assets the fps drops below the freesync range and that causes the issue.

some panels are worse for it than others

tons of posts all over the net for va flicker, usually once the game is loaded and in game it is fine with the occasional flicker.

I once told you that applications start to flicker when I recorded a video; this was not on the video, but it was on my monitor.

I've tried the power cycle and it hasn't worked. Ive also reset the monitor multiple times. Still stuck at 120Hz in warzone, MW2 and Forza. Like I said, it's weird because it flickers a bit in menus and loading screens but as soon as its in game, it's locked ! It was working completely fine and suddenly it stopped. My friend also has the same issue on a Tuf Gaming Monitor.

So I've been playing with my Xbox as I normally do and the monitor still flickers. I've yet to play a PC game with my monitor plugged into my UPS, but I recall it flickering when I was beta testing Battlefield for the PC (while it was plugged into a regular
surge protector).

Even worse though is that while I was playing Arkham City, the flickering got more frequent (likely because of my tenants watching television) but I also had two vertical lines appear on my monitor. It could be that it's my monitor that can't handle the
voltage fluctuations, but it's more likely to me that it's the wiring in my home. I think it'd be far too costly to get the wiring in my home fixed, and my monitor is under warranty for under 4 years, but if it's not my monitor, is there anything else I can
do?

As soon as I got the new monitor I changed to 4K since the old TV I used to run it on only supported 1080p,

The monitor doesn't have HDR (it's not high end) so I don't have HDR enabled so it's probably not a HDR related issue

I'll try turning it down to 1080p and see if it experience, many thanks

Update:

I changed it to 1080p and it has behaved very weirdly,

I changed it to 1080p then proceeded to load up forza where it took a turn, just in loading the game it kept on violently flickering and at some point showing the static for up to 5 seconds and not even flickering, the screen even went completely black at
some points, once it had loaded it was more stable then when it was loading but still flickering once or twice very few seconds; very odd.

I then turned it back to 4K where it went back to the relatively stable state not flickering on loading screen and occasionally flickering once or twice every few minutes when crashing through walls or somethings.

I run my PC on 1080p on the same monitor without these problems(used to run it at 4K but the it struggled to keep a good fps at 4K) so I again don't think it's the monitor since this only happens on the xbox.

This turn of events is very weird since when I first started to notice this issue I swapped to 1080p to test and it didn't behave like this and was just as bad as 4K so it has progressed to a worse state.

Don't know what would have caused this as I have really looked after my Xbox: not limiting air flow, I haven't dropped / hit the console and it sits in the same place and isn't moved. I do remember it running quite hot on a handful of occasions when playing
COD, but it normally runs exceptionally cool and quietly and hasn't been running hot recently.

Also does anyone know how to directly contact Microsoft (not there unusable chat bot) like an email or anything since I can't find one,
