Money on Microsoft Account

Hi

Hope this is the right place to post this but I was wondering what the money on my microsoft account is able to buy if I don't have the option to renew xbox live with it. I don't even see an option to buy a game with it.

Do you have to sign up for microsoft rewards or will they just send some extra cash to anyone who purchases from the store? I recently bought a few games and would love a kickback haha.

What's the incentive for them? If someone is looking to buy Watch Dogs, having them buy a new copy grants them more profit than providing a used copy to sell.

 

It's used to purchase content from the Live marketplace (games, game add-ons, avatar items, etc.). The money will show as your Micrososft account balance when you try to make a purchase. If you're making a purchase for the 360, you will have to make the
purchase on the console in order to use the money.

 

This is clearly stated on the card you purchased

Movies games music and dlc

Prepaid membership cards are still available what makes you think currency cards are used for it when you clearly have better options

If you mean you want t o use the currency cards for membership deals

I suggest you read the details of the deal

You need a renewable payment option for those deals

 

Most services have separate currency and membership cards specifically for pay as you go people

You don't get the same discounts ornadvantages like subscription people like discounts or dlc for that reason

You can cancel at anytime but with every service you must notify the company upon doing so just like your regular services

 

No service allows currency for subsscriptions seeing as you need a renewable payment option for those

That's why they have subscription cards for those

Why in heavens name would you buy something other then what you need

If you want pay as you go you must use prepaid ssubscription cards at full price or whatever price they are at the retailer sometimes you can get discounts but that depends on your region

Currency cards have never been used for memberships on any service

Its not rocket science

 

I get that i cant renew my xbox live but today i tried to purchase forza horizon and it wanted me to use a credit card instead of the money on my account. I must be doing something wrong? idk?

 

Need to do it on the console not the website

 

Still asks for my credit card or paypal, oh well
