Money Not Showing Up on Xbox Live or Website

So for the past Two Months I have had money on my Microsoft Account. $20 originally purchased in March and another $20 last Month. But my Microsoft Account did not appear in my payment options when attempting to make purchases, but appear on the Commerce.Microsoft.com
website. So, I tried contacting Customer Support over the phone three times and have thrice been directed to the Advocacy Team.

The first time they continued to give the same directions so I stopped replying and called back within a couple of weeks, the second time they never even emailed me, and the third most recent time they closed my case without the issue being resolved.

This is extremely annoying when I have to use a Credit Card to make purchases despite having money on my account that just doesn't appear. Any work to actually resolve this issue would be fantastic as my patience level has been well exceeded due to this
whole fiasco.

If you are talking about using it on the website you can't you have to use your console to spend the money

Only PayPal or credit cards can be used on the website

Can you check commerce.Microsoft.com to see if the balance is there

Also did you buy the code from out of rrgion

Like a us code but Canada account or Mexican?

If so that would be why currency codes are region specific

And cannot be transfered between regions

 

could you check on the commerce Website if there are multiple billing profiles with different regions?

in the topright Corner there should be eg "US - Profile" and possible a Dropdown menu to select a different one.

if thats the case your xbox will only use the billing Region which is currently saved to your gamertag

 

I checked and when I click the dropdown menu that says "US - Personal Account" and all it says is "US - Business Account" in the menu. And yes, my account is associated with the United States and it says I have $40.00 USD on my account, but on the Xbox Website
that I have $0

 

The website is not set up to use currency. It can only be used on the console.

 

I understand that. But the issue is that it's reporting that I don't have any money on my Microsoft Account on the Xbox website and on Xbox Live despite me buying two $20 Cards. Yet, on the Commerce Website, it shows that I have $40 USD. My issue is that
I can't use the Account Credit purchased for Xbox Live on Xbox Live.

No, it does not show up. Therefore, I'm unable to actually use it.

 

This definitely sounds like a billing issue then. You should contact phone support to see if they can look into it for you.
