Money Gone From My Account

On October 11 I got an email from Microsoft stating my promotional balance of $20 was going to expire on 11/11/14. On November 11 I tried to use that money to purchase a game and I learned the money was already gone from my account. I called customer service
and was told the system was down and they could not access my account information to look into the issue and I was told to call back later. I called back and got disconnected on two occasions as I spoke with employees were were trying to help me and finally
when I got to the third I was told that because the Microsoft servers use London time (GMT) I lost the balance in my account and would not be able to use it even though it was still well before the 12th where I was located on the East Coast. The employee
was nice about the problem and I understand it is not his fault my money was removed from my account, but I do not feel it is right to take the money before its expiration (My time, not GMT). Nowhere in the email I got does it say I had to make the purchase
by a certain time on the expiration day. I own an Xbox 360 and Xbox One and have spent a lot of money on the systems and the games and I feel cheated out of $20 and would like the money reinstated, even if just for a day, to allow me to make the purchase
I had planned so I can spend even more money on Microsoft.

Xbox live cancellation refund

Hello, i have noticed money has gone from my micrMicro account due to my child spending money on a game without my permission i was wondering if you could possibly refund the funds

 

If you received an email saying the currency would expire on November 11 then waited until November 11 to make to use it then there was always a good possibility that it would not be available to you.

However, as this is a billing issue there is nothing that anyone here can do to help. You must deal with phone support.

 

I received no email an they done same to me while i waited for a password change 30 bloody days i had wait mind you i gets back in an my vip is 0 and my money gone time for PS4 me thinks sick of this crap
