You could also argue that Titanfall was suppose to be a killer game for the X Bone and MS was hoping it would help them catch up with the PS4, which obviously hasn't happened.

You can't keep changing the goalpost to suit yourselves. It's no different to the game comparisons that are made on here.

I'm sick seeing you can't tell the difference augument on here, next someone going to say you can't tell the difference between 1080 P and 4 K.

Since there doesn't been any figures posted, I wouldn't say that the X1 is catching up, but I don't doubt that Titanfall has been a system seller, especially since the bundles and sales have basically void the cost argument.

 

^ Will take few million sales for X1 to catch up, and it's true the cost argument is pretty much obsolete. We've still got 'resolutiongate', which will also pass as we progress into the generation.

There's no 'noticable' difference between 900p and 1080p when using a 32" TV from several feet away, which you know would be average TV size and distance sitting on a couch. In the context of a console war lower resolution does hold significance, although
If I was after a superior performing platform I'd modify my PC.

Titanfall is over-hyped garbage IMO, it's fun for about an hour.

Titanfall on the Xbox One may not have caught up to Sony's PS4, but it sold well nonetheless.

There's a difference between 720p and 1080p, and there is also a difference between 900p and 1080p. Here is the thing though some people won't be able to tell the difference because of how far they sit from the TV. Other people
won't be able to tell the difference because they can't compare the same game to a different console. And like me, other people won't be able to tell the difference as they are too busy playing the game.

I'm sure Killzone: Shadowfall was not running in full-HD and people could not still tell the difference.

Many people don't even care. There are gamers out there that don't care what console has better specs, what game has better visuals and what controller massages your palms whilst you play. It's about the measure of enjoyment and fun. Need it be about anything
else?

 

The difference between 720p upscaled to 1080p and 1080p native, with the upscaling that the Xbox One utilizes is marginal at best. Especially in motion. The difference between most games that have been compared really is minimal and just a bunch of fanboys
nitpicking and trying to find whatever flaws they can to justify their purchases.

What makes more of a difference is the textures and post processing used, as well as the upscaling hardware and software. Get those right and resolution absolutely doesn't matter. It didn't matter last generation. It doesn't matter this generation. If you
want uber resolution for all of your games then go and buy a PC.

 

When you take into consideration of how most of us game using our game console...... we sit on average 10ft or more away from the TV, and our screens are 50" and under.

Under those conditions the human eye has a heard time telling the difference between 1080p and 720p......not to mention 900p.

You might be sick of hearing it, but I guess some people are sick of hearing about the law of gravity too.

 

Size of tv makes a difference so does the length too. I remember seeing a Nintendo Wii U game an age ago and thought how colorful it was, that was in 1080 P. So you can tell.

But the ultimate test would be too identical tvs side by side, two copies of WatchDogs when it comes out and a PS4 and X BOne.

I do think you will tell the difference to be honest with you.

Actually I think "tools" are more of the people that go around calling people names just for putting the facts together through tests like that.

 

People are people. They're not tools, trolls, sheep, or anything else. So stop calling them those things and just deal with them according to the forum rules like you're supposed to. If everyone did that, this would be a much, much better (and safer) community.

 

Haha and you have never called me names @below lol. Ok geek trust me people aren't people. There are many types. Be as unbiased as you like and discuss, but trolls we all know that have trolled or flamed for sometime then expect to participate in serious
