Mojang gmail account migration into Microsoft account

Greetings, I am looking for help with the Mojang migration thing.

Hope anyone who knows about it can help me

I recently migrated my mojang account (wich was a gmail acc) into a Microsoft one, but my gmail account is not registrated on Microsoft, it doesnt exist and I am unable to sign in, even though i received a Mojang email to notify me about the migration. I remember my minecraft username but since there is not an option for me to sign in by typing the username, obviously I cant play the games on that acc.

I think is relevant to say that I mayself have registered a Microsoft account with the same name as the gmail one (many years before) so I dont know if that could interfere somehow. I have access to the Microsft acc on their site and also have access to the gmail acc on their site but I am unable to sign in into the Minecraft Launcher with my gmail account, where I bought the game many years ago.

What worked for me was logging into the account that I had the Mojang registration on which in my case was a Gmail account and logging in through the Microsoft login for the Gmail account. I had created a new outlook account for the migration but it did not migrate to that account but rather went to the other account which I assume was linked to the previous Mojang registered account.

Just to confirm, are you still on the process of migrating your Mojang account to a Microsoft account? Or are you still creating a Microsoft account using your Gmail address to link your Mojang account to it?

I'm sorry, but I did not understand this. Do you have access to the Microsoft account that you migrated or not? Can you sign in to it on the Microsoft website?

Or did you migrate to a Microsoft account that you do not have access to?

I migrated my Mojang account to my personal account, a gmail account. But the launcher seems to only want to use my Live account and wont even open at all to let me log in to my gmail account.

You can recover your account by going to any Microsoft page (like https://account.microsoft.com/account) and, when on the sign up page, select "I forgot my password" and follow the steps.

If you can't recover that way and your Microsoft Account has a Microsoft email address (like outlook.com, msn.com, live.com, hotmail.com) you can try to fill the account recovery form at:
