mojang and microsoft PLS.

So as you guys know, MICROSOFT has been constantly urging us to migrate our MOJANG accounts to MICROSOFT accounts. And by September, they are going to delete all the un-migrated accounts.

So my question is here: WHY IS NEITHER MOJANG NOR MICROSOFT TAKING RESPONSIBILITIES OF MIGRATED ACCOUNTS??????

My minecraft account (migrated) got stolen about a week ago. If I get a ticket on MOJANG, they always say that migrated accounts are not theirs, its MICROSOFT's, that they cannot do anything about it even though I have the transaction ID and everything. So they told me to go to MICROSOFT support.

If I go to MICROSOFT support and get in contact with one gamer, they also say to go to MOJANG and tell them to un-migrate my account. (Ridiculous, isn't it?)

Once more, they passed their responsibilities to each other.

But what are their plans after ALL the minecraft accounts become migrated?

Will they still gonna pass the bucket? Especially MICROSOFT, will you literally not take care of any migrated accounts?? I am really curious about it.

I'm furious about MOJANG's slow and irresponsible work.

I'm furious about MICROSOFT's not being responsible even though they had bought MOJANG.

If this continues even after the great deletion of un-migrated accounts, I don't know what to say.

so basically

the hacker has added his email to my microsoft account's security info, transferred my minecraft account to his email, and deleted my microsoft account. whenever I type my email to https://account.live.com/acsr, it says 'the microsoft account you've entered does not exist'.

such a smart hacker bro

Sadly, once a Microsoft domain alias has been deleted, it is impossible to get it back or make a new account with the same name. It has been eliminated forever. After they are deleted, aliases are not recycled by Microsoft. This implies that it won't ever again be accessible to you or anybody else as a new account or alias.

I'm sorry to hear that your Migrated account got stolen. I understand your frustration. Please allow me to provide options on what we can do on our end to address your concern.

If your account is lost after the migration, that means that you have to recover your Microsoft Account in order to recover your Minecraft account since you need to use your Microsoft Account to login.

To recover your account, you'll need to verify your identity and provide some information about your account history. Follow these steps:

1. Go to https://account.live.com/acsr and enter the email address, phone number, or username of the account you are trying to access.

2. Please enter an email address that we can use to contact you about your request.

3. Enter the characters you see on the screen to prove that you are not a robot and select Next.

4. A screen will appear asking you to verify the contact email address. Check for a message from us in the email with the security code, enter that code, and select Verify.

5. Fill in as much information as you can, even if you're not sure. See Tips for filling out the recovery form below.

6. Select Send when you're done and we'll respond within 24 hours.
