Modifying game files

Ive checked what performance I should be getting and its about right but the fps drops are weird cause its just random not when something should be loading

Still wouldn't do any harm to tell us what they are. I'm primarily a PC gamer and I know PC hardware.

Have you tried running MSI Afterburner to check your FPS and your CPU and GPU temperatures?

You will risk getting banned by the developers of the game in question as they tend to review such things!

I see, as I said I don't see any problems when modifying single-player games, but be aware that every game has a risk and you must decide whether or not it's worth it for you to take that risk.

yea Ive been looking around before doing it but all they do to my question is respond with the microsoft tos

We appreciate your coming to the Xbox community, if they are single-player games I don't see any problems modifying them, but it may depend on the game and also on the developer. It's also worth mentioning that not all games support mods in the Xbox app or Microsoft store, since modifying files to improve rendering as you mentioned may not work due to encrypted files that are downloaded by the Microsoft Store and Xbox app. There is no way to access a game executable from the Xbox application, as with other launchers, where there are subfolders. Either way I would recommend you contact game support as well, as may be what you want to do violates the developer's game guidelines.

Hello, thanks for the advice but there really isnt any way to contact support for the game but Ive looked at their tos and there isnt anything against it. Its just the community always says you aren't allowed but that isnt written anywhere

its not against the tos really on pc, besides you can get the majority of xbox games on steam where you have access to all the files.
