Modern Warfare wont launch

Power cycle and then reset your modem/router and then delete your profile from your Xbox console and then sign back in and then factory reset the Xbox console.This should fix it and you can keep all your game saves.

f you're ready to reset your console to the factory default settings, follow these steps:

1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info > Reset console.
3. On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:

• Reset and remove everything. This option resets the console to factory settings. All user data, including accounts, saved games, settings, home Xbox associations, and all games and apps will be deleted. Use this option when you sell
  or give the console to someone else, or as a last resort in some troubleshooting cases.
• Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your first choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. In some cases, if a corrupted game file
  is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything.
• Cancel. To back out of this screen, simply select this button.

It did this to me yesterday, a hard reset of the console solved the issue for me, maybe try that?

if you have been playing for months it should be impossible for it to have been refunded and if the pre-order was cancelled you wouldn't have been able to download and install it.

first try Power Cycling your Xbox just to clear the cache.

hold the power button on the Xbox for 10 seconds until it completely shuts down.

unplug the power from the wall socket/power outlet for 5 minutes then plug it back in and turn your Xbox on as normal.

go to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders/ and sign in with your Xbox account to confirm that you do own the game.

then go to https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us, click the Contact Us button then click in the window for
What are you having trouble with? select Subscriptions and billing, then in the window for
What is the issue? select I need help making a purchase. this will give you the option to request a call back from support or to use the online chat to talk to a member of Support.

if you goto the following page and sign in if required with your microsoft account thats linked to your xbox live id, does it say you own this game?

if not then click on your account in the top right then order history and go through that to find your pre-order for modern warfare and then contact xbox support about the issue with proof you have pre-ordered it etc.

It wont load the clan thing online and it just wont let me play Modern warfare
