MODERN WARFARE SPLIT SCREEN OPTION MISSING AFTER NEW DEC 2021 UPDATE

IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS ISSUE? ADD A SPLIT SCREEN OPTION IS NOT AVALIABLE AT ALL USUALLY IT WOULD SAY PRESS A TO ADD BUT IT'S NOT EVEN AN OPTION. WE TRY TO CONNECT A SECOND CONTROLLER AND THE GAME ENDS UP FREEZING AND CLOSING.....

So much for "Next Gen Experience", right? Might as well play it on Xbox 360 at this point, since it won't be getting updates and therefore the splitscreen will always exist.

the games split screen kept crashing awhile ago and now theres not even a option to select split screen. like this game is 3 yrs old an worked fine and now is broken and your not even trying to fix it . should I get refund then? fix your game or I know alot of people who arent gonna buy it anymore and you'll end up like battlefield

For anyone wondering you can go to your xbox settings and set it to offline and the option comes back. its till BS that we have to do that to use a basic feature but at least you can go sick with your boys now! Good luck guys and F activision.

Hello all,

Unfortunately Activision has disabled split screen and is throttling mw 2019 to try and "encourage" players to buy there newer games. No, your xbox is fine they just disabled it. They may do the same with cod cw if they haven't already. I loved playing split screen, but it seems all gaming companies care not. I mean look at halo infinite, half complete game at launch and no split screen.
