    Hell all,

    I have been incredibly frustrated the past few days. I was able to play Modern Warfare multiplayer up until this past Tuesday, June 30th, when they released their mid season update. I attempted to download it and it said “installation stopped”. No matter
    what I tried, it didn’t work and the game, when loaded up, said I was missing that data pack.

    I did a bunch of research to try to find the solution.

    What I have tried:

    Deleting and reinstalling my profile

    Clearing my alternate MAC address

    Power cycling my console

    Clearing my local storage

    Clearing my reserved space for Modern Warfare

    Deleting the game entirely and reinstalling completely (I own the game on disc, if that helps) (My internet is not phenomenal so reinstalling again is not ideal but if I have to, I will)

    After all that, I still cannot download the multiplayer pack 3. It even says that I do not own the game at all and that I would have to purchase it again. I cannot find any solution to this problem. I had a similar problem about a year ago when trying
    to update fortnite and the final solution was to factory reset my console, which I’m trying to leave that as my final resort if that would change anything.

    If anyone has any alternate solutions or ways that I can fix this, I would appreciate it so much. I have 17 days played on the game and grind/achieved Damascus, I am not ready to stop playing it yet.

    This did not resolve the issue. I still do not have the option to access Modern Warfare. It only shows options to pre-order Modern Warfare 2, Play Warzone, or Purchase Vanguard. If I view it in the store it says I own the game.

    I started downloading Modern Warfare Warzone, then bought the multiplayer on disc. When I put the disc in it loads up but i can only play Warzone. It says I still have to purchase the multiplayer.

    Modern Warfare 2019 won't work on Xbox Series S

    Hello.

    I own a physical copy of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. I bought it in early 2020 and have been playing it on Xbox One.

    It's as if the Xbox doesn't recognize I have the license for the game or something. In the store I can find the Modern Warfare digital copy for full price.

    I can also find Warzone for free and it says "Includes Modern Warfare". Except it doesn't work.
    Hi,

    If you own a physical (disc) copy of Call of duty, then it's the license for the disc version that you own. Since the Series S has no Blu-ray drive, any disc games you have installed will not work as they require the disc to prove ownership.

    I'm afraid as the Series S has no optical drive, you will have to re-buy Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 as a digital purchase. This also applies to all other games you own on disc.

    If this is not cost effective to you, then your only option is to buy a Series X, which does contain a Blu-ray drive.

    when i put in my disc for modern warfare it said i could only play warzone i installed data pack 1 the newest update and it is still saying that i dont have it installed.
    Hey Im having the same problem where I bought the game when it came out and now it says i dont own it! I have all packs installed except i bought the game digitally and still only warzone.Anyone find a fix for this ?
